Ravenlight by Melissa Riddell : Audiobook Review

*Received Audio-ARC in exchange for Review*

10 years ago, Sophie Brannigan was saved from a fall by a raven. Now she discovers her raven is actually Revan Chogan. Cursed 200 years ago by an enemy shaman to live as a raven except on Ravenlight. The night of the full moon.

I really liked having a “new” (to me) type of shifter. The werewolf/vampire tropes are a bit overdone but a Raven! I binged the audiobook all in one afternoon. While the premise of the story is not unique the characters really grow before your eyes. I felt what Sophie felt and loved Revan with her. I usually do audiobooks when I do chores or drive but this book stirred my imagination to the point I designed a bookmark instead. I felt like I could see the story unfurling before my eyes even though I was only sitting in my office.
