You think I’m slow
You think I’m boring
You make my mother
Stay up worrying
You call me weird
You call me a freak
Yet I can’t imagine
How your world’s so bleak
I might seem different
I might seem strange
But together
we can make a change
I am a person
I don’t need a cure
I just want acceptance
this I can assure
I’m just like you
So please hear my plea
Can’t you see
The world isn’t you versus me
